James and Susie's wedding

Al's 3rd wedding and he's only 4 months old! Very lovely day with a Moroccan flavour. Mummy and Daddy particularly enjoyed the food :-)

James and his best (wo)man stayed with us the night before so we were all up early checking the weather forecast. It was really bad - showers all day - but fortunately turned out to be wrong and James and Susie had glorious sunshine for their happy day. It was really lovely.

Coincidentally Susie's grandad turned out to be Clive's old pastor from the church he went to as a teenager ... 93 now and only just retired! He remembered Clive, which was lovely, and his wife had a good cuddle with Al.

Grandma's 60th weekend

We went "up north" for Grandma's 60th birthday and anyone who's anyone was there! Al was cuddled all weekend by his entire collection of grandparents and lots of aunts and uncles. Uncle David kept people away while Al was zzz.

While we were up there Al also had his first piano lesson and clearly showed great musical talent at an early age.

Al joins the Jet Set

We had our first holiday out of UK, to Copenhagen. We nearly didn't make it thanks to Easy Jet cancelling our flight (and mummy getting cross with unhelpful EJ staff) but eventually we got to Denmark. Al seemed to enjoy his first flight and let out his loudest ever burp in appreciation on the way over.

We had a great apartment in Frederiksberg which was really cosy and comfy. We were a 20 min walk from Tivoli Gardens and 10 mins from the zoo. Al stayed awake long enough to smile at the chimps.

As well as his first flight Al also had his first boat trip although as usual he slept right through the experience.
And of course we had to get photos with the Little Mermaid.
