For Daddy

We had a lovely couple of weeks when Clive was on paternity leave, but all good things must come to an end.

So we took a little photo to send him when he went back to work so he could remember Al. Here's the little lad in his basket on our window seat, looking out and watching the world.

Little Al

Ok so maybe he needs to grow a bit before he fits in this bed.

Historic moment

Louise volunteered to feed Al ... and then revealed that it was her first time ever to feed a baby! She changed his nappy too but turned out to be an old hand at that :-) Now that's the kind of visitor we like ...

She also brought us curries and lasagne so she's very popular in our house!

The lads

My two sweeties having a bit of a chat in our back garden.

Note how co-ordinated their outfits are ... Could Clive be training the lad up in the ways of Bristol Rovers?

Jane and Al

Jane came with Ruth but we forgot to take pics while Ruth was here. You can see Jane's done this before.

The two grannies

Here's Nanny and Grandma ... being good and not fighting over who gets to cuddle Al next.

We were all really pleased because Nanny had an eye operation a few weeks ago and we weren't sure she would be able to see Al. Her sight has really improved though and she could see him pretty well. :-)

Here's the lad looking cute :-)

Well, despite the fact that he wouldn't sleep until about 2am and wore us out with us wriggling and gurgling we still think he's utterly scrummy and here's a couple of pics of him looking cute to prove it :-)

At the Rosie

We had lots of visitors to the hospital ... including Great Gran, Grandma and Grandpa who came down the day after Al was born.

Gran was quite concerned that Al wasn't wrapped in a shawl ... despite the great heat of the Sara ward!
